NBCA Athletics Overview
Purpose
NBCA is excited to provide opportunities for our students to participate in athletic competition. We believe that athletic competition is a healthy way by which we can cultivate Christian young people who have character, leadership, accountability to authority and peers, and cooperation that they will need for the rest of their lives.
In striving to educate the mind while instructing the heart, we desire to instill in our athletes an attitude that desires to glorify God in all things, including sports. The athletic department of NBCA exists to reinforce the spiritual and academic goals of the school. While winning is important and valuable, and we teach our athletes to be winners, the athletic programs of NBCA are servants to cultivating a passion for the Lord Jesus Christ and His work in the hearts of our students.
